Recently I have been trying to come up with new recipes to try that are both easy and quick to make and still taste super yummy! This chicken recipe was about as simple as it gets and was a big hit with my family! WHAT YOU NEED:
*3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I cut each breast in half)
*1 cup milk
*1 bunch of broccoli (or you can use frozen. I would say about 2 cups.)
*1 cup French Fried Onions, crushed
*1 can Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup
*1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
*Salt & pepper to taste
WHAT YOU DO:
Preheat your oven to 350*. While the oven is heating up, cut each chicken breast in half and place in a baking dish. Salt and pepper each piece of chicken. In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese soup and milk until it is blended. Pour over the chicken making sure each piece is well covered.
Next, cut broccoli into small florets and add on top of chicken. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crushed fried onions across top as well. Place in oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is cooked completely through.
Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. My husband likes that there is enough sauce to use on the mashed potatoes. Enjoy! :)
